Kemper & Associates, Inc. first opened their doors for business in 1987 by Mark and Susan Kemper. Coordinating their efforts to provide professional service to their clients, they have been in business for over 21 years. Mark provides the leadership and knowledge to provide top quality land surveying services with his broad background in land surveying as well as experience in the oil industry. Susan oversees the office management to assure that projects move along smoothly and that all projects are thoroughly researched. Susan studied business at Northern State College in Aberdeen, South Dakota and has a broad background of experience in various types of businesses.
Mark is a graduate of St. Anthony High School, Dunwoody Institute with a diploma in Civil Technology & Land Surveying, and from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology with a degree of Geological Engineering. Mark spent six years in Texas as a licensed petroleum and natural gas engineer. Subsequently, he obtained his professional land surveyor's license in the states of Texas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, California, and Massachusetts and decided to set up his land surveying practice in Minnesota. Mark has been active in local engineering and land surveying organizations and served as president of the local Capital Area Land Surveyor's Association and president of the Twin Lakes Chapter of the Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers. Mr. Kemper also holds memberships in the following: National Society of Professional Surveyors, Capital Area Surveyor's Association, Minnesota Society of Professional Surveyors, Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers, and Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Kemper & Associates, Inc. maintains its headquarters in New Brighton, Minnesota, conveniently located in downtown New Brighton next to the new fire and police station. They have been in their own building since 1999.
